Map showing State Farm Agent Dean Dollarhide's office at 503 E 2nd St, The Dalles, OR

I am a lifelong resident of the Columbia River Gorge and continue to call this area my home and have my office in The Dalles, OR. I love the Communities I live and work in as they are filled with incredible scenery and wonderful people. I am truly blessed to call the Gorge home!

After playing baseball in the Northern Pac -10, I had a 20 year career at UPS and now have my own State Farm Agency. My wife Michelle has been able to join me in the Agency and my son Jake, yes - Jake from State Farm, now lives on a farm and raises specialty show sheep while my Daughter, Maddie, recently graduated from Dufur High School and was elected as a State Officer for FFA. I have been truly blessed with family and friends.

I love being able to help people and that is exactly what being a State Farm Agent allows me to do. It doesn't matter if you are a customer or not, helping people comes first. I work very hard a being a "Good Neighbor" and do everything I can to give back to the Communities I live and work in.

Our experienced State Farm team here in The Dalles is ready to help you with any insurance need you have. If you're in the market for a new or used car and need Auto Insurance, give us a call! I was honored to be selected as Outstanding Philanthropist in 2018 at the Tradition of Compassion Community Awards. I am a proud Rotarian and recently retired from coaching baseball for 31 years. I continue to enjoy providing free pitching lessons to all ages. The annual County Fairs are a special time of year, and I love supporting our Local Youth with their agricultural projects. I very much enjoy supporting our local Communities.

April in the Columbia River Gorge means warmer weather and fresh beginnings. It’s a wonderful time to take a moment to review your insurance coverage and ensure everything is up to date as the seasons change. From updating your policy to answering any questions you have, I’m here to help you feel confident and secure all year long. Contact me anytime—because your protection is important every season.
